100 leaders from Chambers of Commerce and Boards
of Trade from across Ontario will come together in
Windsor for the 2010 Ontario Chamber of Commerce
(OCC) Annual General Meeting & Convention to
set the direction for the lobby efforts of the
network.
The
OCC AGM & Convention is the main policy
setting conference of the network of 160 chambers
of commerce and boards of trade in Ontario.
Policies on issues concerning a competitive
taxation and regulation, modernizing energy and
infrastructure, a skilled workforce, and
transitioning to the new economy will be discussed
and voted on during the policy plenary.

Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce is the
Host Community Chamber of the 2010 AGM &

RESOURCES FOR BUSINESSES TO COMPLY WITH NEW CUSTOMER
SERVICE STANDARD

The
Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) is working with
local chambers of commerce and boards of trade in
the province to help Ontario businesses comply
with Ontario’s new customer service standard.
The
online training, which will provide participants
with proof of certification, will be delivered by
the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and its 160
affiliated chambers of commerce and boards of
trade in Ontario. The training will be available
later this fall in order to help businesses
prepare for the January 1, 2012 compliance date
for all private sector organizations. Full
