FEDERAL BUDGET - MARCH 4, 2010

House of Commons (Fred Chartrand/Canadian Press)

The 2010 federal budget date is this Thursday, March 4, 2010. The Canadian Chamber of Commerce has issued its expectations for taming the deficit and positioning the federal finances on a more sustainable path.

The Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber has echoed these messages through its advocacy and meetings with federal officials. Economic recovery, more government stimulus money to help small and medium size businesses and spending on border infrastructure remain key business priorities for our region.

The Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a post budget event with KPMG on March 5, 2010 at 9:00 a.m.
